Prerequisites: Fine art 2

Grade available to: Juniors, and Seniors.

This course is intended to enhance student's abilities in cartoon and painting through experimentation in a variety of media. Students will be encouraged to develop their own personal creative vision, while working on refining their artistic skills through traditional studies.

Students' feel will include some of the post-obit: pencil, marker, pen and ink, chalk pastels, oil pastels, charcoals, scratchboards, watercolors, acrylics, tempera, and mixed media. The class setting is similar to an fine art college studio class. All advanced fine art students are welcome! It is recommended to accept Cartoon & Painting, along with Advanced Drawing & Painting prior to enrolling in AP Studio.

GRADING

1. All assignments must be completed on or before the due date.
ii. Unfinished artwork is graded equally such.
3. If you are absent-minded, it is your responsibility to make upwards all work. You lot can sign out art supplies if needed.
4. If your projection requires actress time to be completed, you have to brand arrangements with me prior the due date. This is your responsibility.
5. Each project has a rubric with specific requirements and guidelines. Follow them.
6. Unless an assignment specifically requires copying, it will be interpreted in the same fashion as plagiarism.
vii. Y'all are likewise graded for your in-class studio piece of work.

CLASSROOM RULES

ane. Food, drinks, candy, gum are non allowed in the Art rooms. A bottle of WATER is permitted in room 206 (merely).
2. Cell phones are not allowed at whatsoever time. Phones should be turned off and put away.
3. Be in the room earlier the bong rings. Dropping your stuff and leaving does not authorize yous as being on time.
iv. Sit at your assigned seat unless I give you OK to movement. That ways you practice not walk effectually the room during the class.
5. Talk quietly with students at your table. Exercise not talk during the instructional time.
6. Depict, paint, etc. on your artwork only!
7. Use materials from your tote-tray only... don't become into other people'south trays.
8. You can bring your work home someday. You lot are responsible for having it dorsum next mean solar day.
9. If you must swear, delight do it elsewhere... Thank you.
10. Yous are responsible for cleaning your work area and the tools that you used.
11. If you lot are in the Graphics lab, use the printers for the electric current ART assignments only!!!
12. Encourage your fellow classmates in a positive way... treat them fairly and nicely. This room should be a fun and comfortable place for everyone.
